The Porch

48 Then he brought me to the (A)porch of the house and measured each side pillar of the porch, five cubits on each side; and the width of the gate was three cubits on each side. 49 The length of the porch was twenty cubits and the width eleven cubits; and at the (B)stairway by which it was ascended were (C)columns belonging to the side pillars, one on each side.

48 Then he brought me to the portico of the temple and measured the jambs of the portico; they were 8¾ feet thick on each side. The width of the gate was 24½ feet,[a] and the side walls of the gate were[b] 5¼ feet[c] wide on each side. 49 The portico was 35 feet[d] across and 21[e] feet[f] deep, and 10 steps led[g] up to it.(A) There were pillars by the jambs, one on each side.(B)
