⁶ Then he came to the gate that faced east and climbed its steps.^(A) He measured the threshold of the gate; it was 3.2 metres deep – one threshold was 3.2 metres deep. ⁷ Each recess was 3.2 metres long and 3.2 metres deep, and there was a space of 2.65 metres^[a] between the recesses.
