2 Luego rodéala de ejércitos y de instrumentos de asalto, construye un muro a su alrededor, y también una rampa, para que se vea como una ciudad sitiada. 3 Toma en seguida una lámina de hierro y ponla entre ti y la ciudad, como si fuera una muralla, y colócate frente a la ciudad, como si la estuvieras atacando. Esto servirá de señal a los israelitas.
4 »Y tú te acostarás sobre el lado izquierdo, y echarás sobre ti la culpa del pueblo de Israel. Tendrás que estar acostado sobre ese lado, llevando sobre ti su culpa

2 e disponi intorno ad essa l'assedio: rizza torri, costruisci terrapieni, schiera gli accampamenti e colloca intorno gli arieti. 3 Poi prendi una teglia di ferro e mettila come muro di ferro fra te e la città, e tieni fisso lo sguardo su di essa, che sarà assediata, anzi tu la assedierai! Questo sarà un segno per gli Israeliti.
4 Mettiti poi a giacere sul fianco sinistro e sconta su di esso la iniquità d'Israele. Per il numero di giorni in cui giacerai su di esso, espierai le sue iniquità:

2 Then lay siege to it: Erect siege works against it, build a ramp(A) up to it, set up camps against it and put battering rams around it.(B) 3 Then take an iron pan,(C) place it as an iron wall between you and the city and turn your face toward(D) it. It will be under siege, and you shall besiege it. This will be a sign(E) to the people of Israel.(F)
4 “Then lie on your left side and put the sin of the people of Israel upon yourself.[a] You are to bear their sin for the number of days you lie on your side.

4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
