12 And you shall eat it as a barley cake, baking it (A)in their sight on human dung.” 13 And the Lord said, “Thus shall the people of Israel eat (B)their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.” 14 Then I said, (C)“Ah, Lord God! Behold, I have never defiled myself.[a] (D)From my youth up till now I have never eaten (E)what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has (F)tainted meat come into my mouth.”

14 Then said I, Ah Lord God! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
