Ezekiel 39:25-29

Israel Restored

²⁵Therefore this is what the Lord God says: “Now I will ^(A)restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on all the ^(B)house of Israel; and I will be ^(C)jealous for My holy name. ²⁶They will ^[a]^(D)forget their disgrace and all their ^[b]treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they ^(E)live securely on their own land with ^(F)no one to make them afraid. ²⁷When I ^(G)bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall ^(H)show Myself holy ^[c]through them in the sight of the many nations. ²⁸Then they will know that I am the Lord their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then I gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer. ²⁹I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have ^(I)poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,” declares the Lord God.

²⁵“Therefore thus says the Lord God: ^(A)‘Now I will bring back the captives of Jacob, and have mercy on the ^(B)whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name— ²⁶^(C)after they have borne their shame, and all their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, when they ^(D)dwelt safely in their own land and no one made them afraid. ²⁷^(E)When I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and I ^(F)am hallowed in them in the sight of many nations, ²⁸^(G)then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who sent them into captivity among the nations, but also brought them back to their land, and left none of them ^[a]captive any longer. ²⁹^(H)And I will not hide My face from them anymore; for I shall have ^(I)poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord God.”
