²³At malalaman ng lahat ng bansa na ang Israel ay nabihag dahil na rin sa kanilang kasamaan; dahil sa pagtataksil nila sa akin, sila ay aking pinabayaan at ibinigay sa kanilang mga kaaway upang patayin. ²⁴Pinabayaan ko sila sapagkat iyon lang ang marapat sa kanilang kasamaan.”

²⁵Ipinapasabi ni Yahweh: “Ngayon, ibabalik ko ang dating kalagayan ni Jacob. Muli kong ipadarama sa sambayanang Israel ang aking pag-ibig sa kanila upang mabigyan kong karangalan ang aking pangalan.

Ezekiel 39:23-25

New International Version

²³And the nations will know that the people of Israel went into exile for their sin, because they were unfaithful to me. So I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies, and they all fell by the sword.^(A) ²⁴I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their offenses, and I hid my face from them.^(B)

²⁵“Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will now restore the fortunes of Jacob^[a]^(C) and will have compassion^(D) on all the people of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name.^(E)

²³And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

²⁴According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

²⁵Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
