“‘Get ready; be prepared,(A) you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. After many days(B) you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations(C) to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety.(D) You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm;(E) you will be like a cloud(F) covering the land.(G)

Be ready, and prepare yourselves,[a] you and all of your assembly,[b] the assembling[c] around you, and you must be[d] for them as a guard. After many days you will be mustered; in the last years[e] you will come to a restored land from the sword, gathered from many peoples on the mountains of Israel which were as permanent ruins[f] but from peoples it was brought out, and they will dwell in safety,[g] all of them. And you will advance like a storm; you will come, and you will be like a cloud covering[h] the land, and all of your troops and many nations along with you.”
