²³ They will not defile themselves any more with their idols,^(A) their abhorrent things, and all their transgressions.^(B) I will save them from all their apostasies by which^[a] they sinned,^(C) and I will cleanse them. Then they will be my people, and I will be their God.^{(D) 24} My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them.^(E) They will follow my ordinances, and keep my statutes and obey them.^(F)

²⁵ ‘ “They will live in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob,^(G) where your ancestors lived. They will live in it for ever with their children and grandchildren, and my servant David will be their prince for ever.^(H)
