34 Mi fu rivolta questa parola del Signore: 2 «Figlio dell'uomo, profetizza contro i pastori d'Israele, predici e riferisci ai pastori: Dice il Signore Dio: Guai ai pastori d'Israele, che pascono se stessi! I pastori non dovrebbero forse pascere il gregge? 3 Vi nutrite di latte, vi rivestite di lana, ammazzate le pecore più grasse, ma non pascolate il gregge.

Ezekiel 34:1-3
King James Version
34 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

34 And the word of Yahweh came[a] to me, saying, 2 “Son of man,[b] prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and you must say to them, to the shepherds, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who were feeding themselves! Must not the shepherds feed the flock? 3 The fat you eat, and you clothe yourself with the wool; the well-nourished animals you slaughter, but you do not feed the flock.
