20 among those who fall slain by the sword.
A sword is appointed, and all his hordes will carry him off. 21 The mighty chieftains, those who once came to his aid, will speak to him from the middle of the underworld,[a] for the uncircumcised have gone down and have lain down, slain by the sword.
Vanished glory
22 Assyria is there, and all its assembly round about his grave,
all of them slain, fallen by the sword,

20 They will fall among those killed by the sword. The sword is drawn; let her be dragged(A) off with all her hordes.(B) 21 From within the realm of the dead(C) the mighty leaders will say of Egypt and her allies, ‘They have come down and they lie with the uncircumcised,(D) with those killed by the sword.’
22 “Assyria is there with her whole army; she is surrounded by the graves of all her slain, all who have fallen by the sword.

21 (B)The strong among the mighty
Shall speak to him out of the midst of hell
With those who help him:
‘They have (C)gone down,
They lie with the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.’
22 “Assyria(D) is there, and all her company,
With their graves all around her,
All of them slain, fallen by the sword.
