Ezekiel 30:1-5
Modern English Version
A Lament for Egypt
30 The word of the Lord came to me again, saying: 2 Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord God:
Howl,
“Woe to the day!”
3 For the day is near,
even the day of the Lord is near,
a cloudy day,
it shall be the time of doom for the nations.
4 The sword shall come upon Egypt,
and great pain shall be in Ethiopia,
when the slain fall in Egypt,
they take away her wealth,
and her foundations are broken down.
5 Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, all Arabia, Kub, and the men of the land that is in league shall fall with them by the sword.

A Lament over the Nation and Land of Egypt
30 And the word of Yahweh came[a] to me, saying,[b] 2 “Son of man,[c] prophesy, and you must say, ‘thus says the Lord Yahweh:
“Wail, alas! For the day!
3 For a day is near;
indeed, a day is near for Yahweh.
A day of cloud,
a time of the nations it will be.
4 And a sword will come in Egypt,
and anguish will be in Cush,
at the falling of the slain in Egypt.
And they will take its wealth,
and its foundation will be demolished.
5 Cush and Put and Lud and all of Arabia and Kub and the people[d] of the land of the treaty[e] with them—by the sword they will fall.”
