26 They will live there in safety(A) and will build houses and plant(B) vineyards; they will live in safety when I inflict punishment(C) on all their neighbors who maligned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.(D)’”

25 “‘I will make a covenant(A) of peace(B) with them and rid the land of savage beasts(C) so that they may live in the wilderness and sleep in the forests in safety.(D) 26 I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing.[a](E) I will send down showers in season;(F) there will be showers of blessing.(G) 27 The trees will yield their fruit(H) and the ground will yield its crops;(I) the people will be secure(J) in their land. They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke(K) and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.(L) 28 They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety,(M) and no one will make them afraid.(N)
