Prophesy Against Moab
8 ‘Thus says Lord Yahweh, “Because (A)Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’ 9 therefore, behold, I am going to open the flank of Moab by its cities, by its cities which are on its [a]frontiers, the glory of the land, (B)Beth-jeshimoth, (C)Baal-meon, and (D)Kiriathaim, 10 and I will give it for a possession along with the sons of Ammon to the (E)sons of the east, so that the sons of Ammon will not be remembered among the nations. 11 Thus I will execute judgments on Moab, and they will know that I am Yahweh.”

8 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the nations; 9 therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are [a]on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim, 10 [b]unto the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations: 11 and I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
