³ “Therefore, speak a parable to the rebellious House, and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Prepare a pot. Prepare it, and also pour water into it.

⁴ “Gather pieces into it, every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder. Fill it with the choice bones.

⁵ “Take one of the best sheep, also, and burn the bones under it. Make it boil well and simmer its bones inside.”
