Ezekiel 20:33-39
New King James Version
God Will Restore Israel
33 “As I live,” says the Lord God, “surely with a mighty hand, (A)with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, I will rule over you. 34 I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out. 35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there (B)I will plead My case with you face to face. 36 (C)Just as I pleaded My case with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will plead My case with you,” says the Lord God.
37 “I will make you (D)pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the (E)covenant; 38 (F)I will purge the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against Me; I will bring them out of the country where they dwell, but (G)they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
39 “As for you, O house of Israel,” thus says the Lord God: (H)“Go, serve every one of you his idols—and hereafter—if you will not obey Me; (I)but profane My holy name no more with your gifts and your idols.

Lexham English Bible
33 “As I live,”[a] declares[b] the Lord Yahweh, “surely[c] with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with rage pouring forth[d] I will reign as king over you! 34 And I will bring you from the peoples, and I will gather you from the countries to which you were scattered with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with rage poured out. 35 Then I will bring you to the desert of the peoples, and I will execute justice on you there face to face. 36 Just as[e] I executed justice on your ancestors[f] in the desert of the land of Egypt, likewise I will execute justice on you!” declares[g] the Lord Yahweh. 37 “And I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant. 38 And I will purge the rebels from among you and the ones transgressing against me; I will bring them out from the land where they are living as aliens,[h] but into the land of Israel they will not come, and then you will know that I am Yahweh.
39 And you, house of Israel, thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Let each one go serve his idols now and after, if you are not listening to me, but my holy name[i] you will not profane any longer with your gifts and with your idols.
