The Glory Departs
22 Then the cherubim lifted up their wings. The wheels were beside them, and the Glory of the God of Israel was positioned above them. 23 The Glory of the Lord went up from the middle of the city and stood on the mountain east of the city. 24 The Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the exiles in Chaldea, in the vision from the Spirit of God. Then the vision I had seen departed from me, and I told the exiles all the things from the Lord that he had shown to me.

22 Then[a] the cherubim lifted up their wings, and their[b] wheels were beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel was over them.[c] 23 And the glory of Yahweh went up from the midst of the city, and it stood still on the mountain that is to the east of the city. 24 And the Spirit lifted me up, and it brought me to Chaldea, to the exiles,[d] in the vision by the spirit of God; and the vision that I had seen left me.[e] 25 And I spoke to the exiles[f] all of the words of Yahweh that he had shown me.
