Ezekiel 1:27-28
World English Bible

27 I saw as it were glowing metal, as the appearance of fire within it all around, from the appearance of his waist and upward; and from the appearance of his waist and downward I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness around him. 28 As the appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around.

This was the appearance of the likeness of Yahweh’s glory. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

Ezekiel 1:27-28
New International Version

27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him.(A) 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow(B) in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.(C)

This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory(D) of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown,(E) and I heard the voice of one speaking.
