Ezekiel 1:2-4

2 On the fifth day of the month (it was (A)the fifth year of (B)the exile of King Jehoiachin), 3 the word of the Lord came to Ezekiel (C)the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by (D)the Chebar canal, and (E)the hand of the Lord was upon him there.

4 As I looked, behold, (F)a stormy wind came (G)out of the north, and a great cloud, with (H)brightness around it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, (I)as it were gleaming metal.[a]

2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,
3 The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.
4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
