¹³He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.

Ezekiel 8:13

New International Version

¹³Again, he said, “You will see them doing things that are even more detestable.”

¹³And He said to me, “Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing.”

¹⁴Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

¹⁴Then he brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the house of the Lord, and I saw women sitting there, mourning the god Tammuz.^(A)

¹⁴So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for ^[a]Tammuz.
