³ As for the ^(A)prince, he shall sit in it as prince to ^(B)eat bread before Yahweh; he shall ^(C)enter by way of the ^(D)porch of the gate and shall go out ^[a]by the same way.”

² Then the ^(A)prince shall enter by way of the porch of the gate from outside and stand by the ^(B)post of the gate. Then the priests shall provide his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate and then go out; but the gate shall not be ^(C)shut until the evening.
