¹⁰ But the Levites who went far from Me when Israel went astray, who ^(A)went astray from Me ^[a]following their idols, shall ^(B)suffer the punishment for their wrongdoing.

Ordinances for the Levites

¹⁵ “But the ^(A)Levitical priests, the sons of ^(B)Zadok, who ^[a](C)took responsibility for My sanctuary when the sons of Israel ^(D)went astray from Me, shall come near to Me to serve Me; and they shall ^(E)stand before Me to offer Me the ^(F)fat and the blood,” declares the Lord God.

¹¹ It shall be for the priests who are sanctified of the ^(A)sons of Zadok, who have ^[a]taken the responsibility I gave them, who did not go astray when the sons of Israel went astray as the ^(B)Levites went astray.
