2 And I saw the greatness of the God of Israel coming from the east. God’s voice was like the roar of rushing water. His greatness made the earth shine. 3 I saw a vision. It was like the vision I had seen when the Lord came to destroy the city. It was also like the vision I had seen by the Kebar River. I bowed facedown on the ground. 4 The greatness of the Lord came into the Temple through the east gate.

New International Version
2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters,(A) and the land was radiant with his glory.(B) 3 The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when he[a] came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the Kebar River, and I fell facedown. 4 The glory(C) of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing east.(D)
