Outside Dimensions of the Temple Complex

15 When he finished measuring inside the temple complex, he led me out by way of the gate that faced east and measured all around the complex.(A)

16 He measured the east side with a measuring rod;
it was 875 feet[a] by the measuring rod.[b]
17 He[c] measured the north side;
it was 875 feet[d] by the measuring rod.[e]
18 He[f] measured the south side;
it was 875 feet[g] by the measuring rod.[h]
19 Then he turned to the west side
and measured 875 feet[i] by the measuring rod.[j]

20 He measured the temple complex on all four sides. It had a wall all around it,(B) 875 feet long and 875 feet(C) wide, to separate the holy from the common.(D)

It had a wall around it,(D) five hundred cubits long and five hundred cubits wide,(E) to separate the holy from the common.(F)
