43 There were hooks, each 3 inches[a] long, fastened all around the foyer walls. The sacrificial meat was laid on the tables.

44 Inside the inner courtyard were two rooms,[b] one beside the north gateway, facing south, and the other beside the south[c] gateway, facing north. 45 And the man said to me, “The room beside the north inner gate is for the priests who supervise the Temple maintenance.

43 And double-pronged hooks, each a handbreadth[a] long, were attached to the wall all around. The tables were for the flesh of the offerings.
The Rooms for the Priests
44 Outside the inner gate, within the inner court, were two rooms, one[b] at the side of the north gate and facing south, and another at the side of the south[c] gate and facing north. 45 He said to me, “The room facing south is for the priests who guard the temple,(A)
