Ezekiel 4:5-7
International Standard Version
5 I’ve assigned you to sleep this way for 390 days, representing the years they’ve been sinning,[a] as you bear symbolically[b] the punishment of the house of Israel. 6 When you have completed this, you are to sleep[c] on your right side, symbolically[d] bearing the iniquity of Judah for 40 days. Each day that I’ve assigned to you represents one year. 7 After this, you are to turn toward the rampart of Jerusalem and oppose[e] it with your bare arms, because I’m going to prophesy about it.

5 I have assigned you the same number of days as the years of their sin. So for 390 days you will bear the sin of the people of Israel.
6 “After you have finished this, lie down again, this time on your right side, and bear the sin(A) of the people of Judah. I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year.(B) 7 Turn your face(C) toward the siege of Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her.
