“‘But you, mountains of Israel, will grow your branches and bear your fruit for my people Israel, for they will arrive soon.[a] For indeed, I am on your side;[b] I will turn to you, and you will be plowed and planted. 10 I will multiply your people[c]—the whole house of Israel, all of it. The cities will be populated and the ruins rebuilt. 11 I will increase the number of people and animals on you; they will increase and be fruitful.[d] I will cause you to be inhabited as in ancient times and will do more good for you than at the beginning of your history.[e] Then you will know that I am the Lord. 12 I will lead people, my people Israel, across you; they will possess you, and you will become their inheritance. No longer will you bereave them of their children.

Look, I’m here for you, and I will turn toward you, and you will be farmed and sown. 10 I will populate you with human beings, the whole house of Israel, all of them. The cities will be inhabited, the ruins rebuilt. 11 When I make people and animals increase on you, they will multiply and be fruitful. I will cause you to be inhabited as you were before. I will do more good for you than in the beginning, and you will know that I am the Lord. 12 I will let people walk through you, my people Israel! They will lay claim to you, you will be their inheritance, and you will no longer deprive them of anything.

The towns will be inhabited and the ruins(C) rebuilt.(D) 11 I will increase the number of people and animals living on you, and they will be fruitful(E) and become numerous. I will settle people(F) on you as in the past(G) and will make you prosper more than before.(H) Then you will know that I am the Lord. 12 I will cause people, my people Israel, to live on you. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance;(I) you will never again deprive them of their children.
