Ezekiel 36:32-34
Modern English Version
32 Not for your sake am I doing this, says the Lord God, let it be known to you. Be ashamed and humiliated for your ways, O house of Israel!
33 Thus says the Lord God: On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause you to dwell in the cities, and the waste places shall be built. 34 The desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all who pass by.

32 I want you to know that I am not doing this for your sake, declares the Sovereign Lord. Be ashamed(A) and disgraced for your conduct, people of Israel!(B)
33 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day I cleanse(C) you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins(D) will be rebuilt.(E) 34 The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it.
