Ezekiel 36:13-15

¹³‘Thus says the Lord God: “Because they say to you, ^(A)‘You devour men and bereave your nation of children,’ ¹⁴therefore you shall devour men no more, nor bereave your nation anymore,” says the Lord God. ¹⁵^(B)“Nor will I let you hear the taunts of the nations anymore, nor bear the reproach of the peoples anymore, nor shall you cause your nation to stumble anymore,” says the Lord God.’ ”

¹³Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because they say unto you, Thou land art a devourer of men, and hast been a bereaver of thy ^[a]nation; ¹⁴therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither ^[b]bereave thy ^[c]nation any more, saith the Lord Jehovah; ¹⁵neither will I ^[d]let thee hear any more the shame of the nations, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shalt thou cause thy ^[e]nation to stumble any more, saith the Lord Jehovah.

¹³“‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because some say to you, “You devour people^(A) and deprive your nation of its children,” ¹⁴therefore you will no longer devour people or make your nation childless, declares the Sovereign Lord. ¹⁵No longer will I make you hear the taunts of the nations, and no longer will you suffer the scorn of the peoples or cause your nation to fall, declares the Sovereign Lord.^(B)’”
