25 I will make a covenant of peace for them, and I will banish the wild animals from the land. Then they will safely live in the desert and sleep in the forest. 26 I will give them and those around my hill a blessing by sending the rain in its season. They will be rains of blessing. 27 The trees in the field will bear fruit, and the earth will yield its harvest. They will be safe on their fertile land, and they will know that I am the Lord when I break the bars of their yoke and deliver them from those who enslaved them.

25 “‘I will make a covenant(A) of peace(B) with them and rid the land of savage beasts(C) so that they may live in the wilderness and sleep in the forests in safety.(D) 26 I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing.[a](E) I will send down showers in season;(F) there will be showers of blessing.(G) 27 The trees will yield their fruit(H) and the ground will yield its crops;(I) the people will be secure(J) in their land. They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke(K) and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.(L)
