Ezekiel 33:3-5
American Standard Version
3 if, when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4 then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning, if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him; whereas if he had taken warning, he would have delivered his soul.

New International Version
3 and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet(A) to warn the people, 4 then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning(B) and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head.(C) 5 Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head.(D) If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves.(E)
