10 “Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus you have spoken, saying, “Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we are (A)rotting away in them; (B)how then can we live?”’ 11 Say to them, ‘(C)As I live!’ declares Lord Yahweh, ‘I take (D)no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked (E)turn from his way and live. (F)Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?’

10 And thou, son of man, say unto the house of Israel: Thus ye speak, saying, [a]Our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we pine away [b]in them; how then can we live? 11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
