¹⁷ They also went down to Sheol with it, ^(A)to those who are slain by the sword; yes, ^(B)those who were its arm, ^(C)who lived under its shadow among the nations.

²⁰ They shall fall amid those ^(A)who are slain by the sword. Egypt^[a] is delivered to the sword; drag her away, and ^(B)all her multitudes. ²¹ The mighty chiefs ^(C)shall speak of them, ^(D)with their helpers, out of the midst of Sheol: ‘They have come down, they lie still, ^(E)the uncircumcised, ^(F)slain by the sword.’

⁸ And I will fill ^(A)its mountains with the slain. On your hills and in your valleys and in all ^(B)your ravines ^(C)those slain with the sword shall fall.
