²⁶ Moreover, ^(A)I will make your tongue cling to ^[a]the roof of your mouth so that you will be mute and cannot be a man who reproves them, for they are a rebellious house.

²⁷ On that day your ^(A)mouth will be opened to him who escaped, and you will speak and be mute no longer. Thus you will be a wondrous sign to them, and they will know that I am Yahweh.’”

²⁰ And behold, you shall be silent and unable to speak until the day when these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their proper time.”
