12 Then ·the Spirit [or the spirit; or a wind] lifted me up, and I heard a loud rumbling ·sound [or voice] behind me, ·saying, “Praise the glory of the Lord [C his manifest presence] in heaven [or as the glory of the Lord rose from its place].” 13 ·I heard [or It was the sound of] the wings of the living creatures touching each other and the sound of the wheels by them. It was a loud rumbling sound.

12 Then the Spirit lifted me up,(A) and I heard behind me a loud rumbling sound as the glory of the Lord rose from the place where it was standing.[a] 13 It was the sound of the wings of the living creatures(B) brushing against each other and the sound of the wheels beside them, a loud rumbling sound.(C)
