⁸ “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will bring a sword against you and kill both man and beast.^(A)

¹⁹ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to give Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king^(A) of Babylon, and he will carry off its wealth. He will loot and plunder^(B) the land as pay for his army.^(C)

²⁶ I will give them into the hands^(A) of those who want to kill them—Nebuchadnezzar king^(B) of Babylon and his officers. Later, however, Egypt will be inhabited^(C) as in times past,” declares the Lord.
