¹³ “For thus says the Lord God: At the end of forty years ^(A)I will gather the Egyptians from the peoples among whom they were scattered,

^26 (A)I will deliver them into the hand of those who seek their life, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his officers. ^(B)Afterward Egypt shall be inhabited ^(C)as in the days of old, declares the Lord.

^22 (A)And the Lord will strike Egypt, striking and healing, and they will return to the Lord, and he will listen to their pleas for mercy and heal them.
