3 therefore thus says the Lord God: (A)Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will bring up (B)many nations against you, (C)as the sea brings up its waves. 4 They shall destroy the walls of Tyre and break down her towers, and I will scrape her soil from her and (D)make her a bare rock. 5 She (E)shall be in the midst of the sea a place for the spreading of nets, (F)for I have spoken, declares the Lord God. And she shall become plunder for the nations, 6 and her daughters on the mainland shall be killed by the sword. (G)Then they will know that I am the Lord.

3 therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Tyre, and I will bring many nations against you, like the sea(A) casting up its waves. 4 They will destroy(B) the walls of Tyre(C) and pull down her towers; I will scrape away her rubble and make her a bare rock. 5 Out in the sea(D) she will become a place to spread fishnets,(E) for I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord. She will become plunder(F) for the nations,(G) 6 and her settlements on the mainland will be ravaged by the sword. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
