8 ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Because (A)Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’ 9 therefore, behold, I am going to [a]deprive the flank of Moab of its cities, of its cities which are on its [b]frontiers, the glory of the land, (B)Beth-jeshimoth, (C)Baal-meon and (D)Kiriathaim, 10 and I will give it for a possession along with the sons of Ammon to the (E)sons of the east, so that the sons of Ammon will not be remembered among the nations.

8 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because Moab(A) and Seir(B) said, “Look, Judah has become like all the other nations,” 9 therefore I will expose the flank of Moab, beginning at its frontier towns—Beth Jeshimoth(C), Baal Meon(D) and Kiriathaim(E)—the glory of that land. 10 I will give Moab along with the Ammonites to the people of the East as a possession, so that the Ammonites will not be remembered(F) among the nations;
