That [a]fierce and impetuous people
Who march [b]throughout the earth
To [c](B)seize dwelling places which are not theirs.
“They are dreaded and (C)feared;

“Their (E)horses are swifter than leopards
And [f]keener than (F)wolves in the evening.
Their [g]horsemen come galloping,
Their horsemen come from afar;
They fly like an (G)eagle swooping down to devour.
“All of them come for violence.

They collect captives like sand.
10 “They (I)mock at kings
And rulers are a laughing matter to them.
They (J)laugh at every fortress
And (K)heap up rubble to capture it.
