Ezekiel 22:28-30
Amplified Bible
28 Her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God’—when the Lord has not spoken. 29 The people of the land have practiced oppression and extortion and have committed robbery; they have wronged the poor and needy and they have oppressed the stranger without justice. 30 I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for [the sake of] the land, that I would not destroy it, but I found no one [not even one].

New International Version
28 Her prophets whitewash(A) these deeds for them by false visions and lying divinations.(B) They say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says’—when the Lord has not spoken.(C) 29 The people of the land practice extortion and commit robbery;(D) they oppress the poor and needy and mistreat the foreigner,(E) denying them justice.(F)
30 “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall(G) and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.(H)
