4 The children have hard faces and stubborn hearts. I am sending you to them, and you are to tell them, ‘Thus says Adonai Elohim.’ 5 Whether they listen, or whether they will refuse to listen—for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet was among them.
6 “But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them. Do not fear their words, though thistles and thorns are beside you and you sit among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words or be dismayed by their looks—for they are a rebellious house.

4 The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn.(A) Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’(B) 5 And whether they listen or fail to listen(C)—for they are a rebellious people(D)—they will know that a prophet has been among them.(E) 6 And you, son of man, do not be afraid(F) of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns(G) are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.(H)
