Ezekiel 19:5-7

‘When she saw, as she waited,
That her hope was lost,
She took [a]another of her cubs
And made him a young lion.(A)
6
‘And he moved among the lions;
He became a young lion,
He learned to tear the prey;
He devoured men.
7
‘He destroyed their palaces
And he flattened their cities;
And the land and all who were in it were appalled
By the sound of his roaring.

- Ezekiel 19:5 Either a timely reference to Jehoiachin who reigned only three months, or a prediction regarding Zedekiah. Both rulers were exiled to Babylon.

5 “‘When she saw her hope unfulfilled,
her expectation gone,
she took another of her cubs(A)
and made him a strong lion.(B)
6 He prowled among the lions,
for he was now a strong lion.
He learned to tear the prey
and he became a man-eater.(C)
7 He broke down[a] their strongholds
and devastated(D) their towns.
The land and all who were in it
were terrified by his roaring.
