¹⁷ He withholds his hand from mistreating the poor
    and takes no interest or profit from them.
He keeps my laws^(A) and follows my decrees.

⁹ They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,^(A)
    their righteousness endures^(B) forever;
    their horn^[a] will be lifted^(C) high in honor.

⁷ The righteous care about justice for the poor,^(A)
    but the wicked have no such concern.
