Ezekiel 16:7-9

7 I (A)made you [a]numerous like plants of the field. Then you grew up, became tall and reached the age for fine ornaments; your breasts were formed and your hair had grown. Yet you were naked and bare.
8 “Then I passed by you and saw you, and behold, [b]you were at the time for love; so I (B)spread My skirt over you and covered your nakedness. I also (C)swore to you and (D)entered into a covenant with you so that you (E)became Mine,” declares the Lord God. 9 “Then I bathed you with water, washed off your blood from you and (F)anointed you with oil.

7 I made you grow(A) like a plant of the field. You grew and developed and entered puberty. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, yet you were stark naked.(B)
8 “‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment(C) over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant(D) with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.(E)
