Ezekiel 16:7-9

7 Grow up;[a] I will make you like a plant of the field.” And you grew up, and you became tall and reached full womanhood.[b] Your breasts were formed, and your hair had grown, but you were naked and bare.
8 “‘And I passed by you, and I saw you, and look, your time of lovemaking had come,[c] and so I spread out my hem over you, and I covered your nakedness, and I swore to you, and I entered into[d] a covenant with you,’ declares[e] the Lord Yahweh, ‘and you became mine.[f] 9 And I washed you with water, and I rinsed off your blood from on you, and I anointed you with oil.

8 “‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment(C) over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant(D) with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.(E)
9 “‘I bathed you with water and washed(F) the blood from you and put ointments on you.
