48 “As I live”—the declaration of the Lord God—“your sister Sodom and her daughters have not behaved as you and your daughters have.(A) 49 Now this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, plenty of food,(B) and comfortable security, but didn’t support the poor and needy. 50 They were haughty and did detestable things before Me, so I removed them when I saw this.[a](C)

New International Version
48 As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign(A) Lord, your sister Sodom(B) and her daughters never did what you and your daughters have done.(C)
49 “‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom:(D) She and her daughters were arrogant,(E) overfed and unconcerned;(F) they did not help the poor and needy.(G) 50 They were haughty(H) and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.(I)

48 As I live, saith the Lord God, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.
