Good News Translation
14 You became famous in every nation for your perfect beauty, because I was the one who made you so lovely.” This is what the Sovereign Lord says.
15 “But you took advantage of your beauty and fame to sleep with everyone who came along.[a] 16 You used some of your clothes to decorate your places of worship, and just like a prostitute,[b] you gave yourself to everyone.

14 And your fame(A) spread among the nations on account of your beauty,(B) because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord.(C)
15 “‘But you trusted in your beauty and used your fame to become a prostitute. You lavished your favors on anyone who passed by(D) and your beauty became his.(E) 16 You took some of your garments to make gaudy high places,(F) where you carried on your prostitution.(G) You went to him, and he possessed your beauty.[a]
