¹⁹ When ^(A)the cherubim departed, they lifted their wings and rose up from the earth in my sight with the wheels beside them; and they stood still at the entrance of the east gate of the house of Yahweh, and the glory of the God of Israel ^[a]hovered over them.

⁶ Then he went to the gate which faced ^(A)east, went up its steps, and measured the threshold of the gate, one rod ^[a]in width; and the other threshold was one rod ^[b]in width.

¹⁵ Then he had finished measuring the inner house; he brought me out by the way of the ^(A)gate which faced toward the east and measured it all around.

⁴ And the glory of Yahweh came into the house by the way of the gate facing toward the ^(A)east.

The Gate of the Prince

44 Then He brought me back by the way of the ^(A)outer gate of the sanctuary, which faces the east; and it was shut.
