7 The alcoves were 10½ feet long and 10½ feet wide; between the alcoves were 8¾ feet.[a] The threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate facing inward was 10½ feet.

7 The alcoves(A) for the guards were one rod long and one rod wide, and the projecting walls between the alcoves were five cubits[a] thick. And the threshold of the gate next to the portico facing the temple was one rod deep.
