¹⁸ Therefore I will act in wrath; my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity, and though they cry in my hearing with a loud voice, I will not listen to them.”^(A)

¹¹ Therefore, thus says the Lord, assuredly I am going to bring disaster upon them that they cannot escape; though they cry out to me, I will not listen to them.^(A)

¹³ Just as, when I^[a] called, they would not hear, so, when they called, I would not hear, says the Lord of hosts,^(A)

¹⁰ As for me, my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity, but I will bring down their deeds upon their heads.”^(A)

Then you shall know that I am the Lord.^(A)

⁵ Thus says the Lord God:

Then you shall know that it is I the Lord who strike.

¹³ Yet you have abandoned me and served other gods; therefore I will deliver you no more. ¹⁴ Go and cry to the gods whom you have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your distress.”^(A)
